On September 15, 2004 Retired Officer Ed Melfi sent the below pictures and a brief e-mail to to Sgt. Jim Delano. The e-mail explained how the Honor Guard started at the Stamford Police Department. Sgt Delano who was doing the web site at the time was in the process of putting these pictures on the site. Sgt Delano passed away on January 5th, 2005.
